April evening: Wittering, 1993. Seventy five years after the formation of the Royal Air Force, Michael Rondot now portrays the most important new aircraft to enter RAF service, the night-attack Harrier GR7. NIGHT ATTACK is published as a Single Limited Edition fine art print countersigned by EIGHT distinguished pilots associated with the Harrier in a unique tribute to this remarkable aircraft in the RAF's 75th anniversary year.
Each print carries the original signature of three Chief Test Pilots and three RAF Air Marshals closely associated with the Harrier. The legendary test pilot AW 'Bill' Bedford OBE AFC, made the first test flights of thc Hawker P1127, Kestrel and Harrier aircraft.John Farley flew the first 'ski-jump' launches and converted the initial USMC AV-8B Harrier pilots to the aircraft, and Chris Roberts has led the Harrier II night-attack flight trials at BAe Dunsfold.

Three of the RAF's highest ranking and most decorated officers
are founding fathers of the Harrier Force.
Air Marshal Sir Kenneth Hayr commanded the first RAF Harrier Squadron in 1969;
June 2nd 2001 Sir Kenneth was tragically killed at Biggin Hill Air show in a Vampire.
A bad day for aviation RIP.
Air Vice-Marshal Peter Squire led No 1(F) Sqn during the Falklands conflict;
Air Marshal Dick Johns Commanded No 3(F) Sqn and the RAF Germany Harrier Force.
Completing the list of distinguished Harrier airmen's signatures are
Group Captain Pete Day, Officer Commanding RAF Wittering, and
Group Captain Chris Burwell, Officer Commanding No 1(F) Sqn.

Every print in the NIGHT ATTACK Limited Edition is individually signed by the eight and numbered by the artist from the single edition of 500 with 50 artist's proofs. Each print is stamped with the Collectair seal and is issued with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authentication to guarantee the edition size. Remarqued prints, with an original pencil drawing of the Harrier on the print border, and especially prized by collectors for their personal touch and extreme rarity, are available at extra charge to enhance the value of this strictly limited edition.
